Latest firmware files for all 2015-onwards I-PAC, Mini-PAC and J-PAC boards plus all Ultimate I/O boards regardless of date.
NOTE: Attempting to upgrade a pre-2015 board which this firmware will render it inoperable.
All firmware except J-PAC now supports the Multi-Mode operation which enables switching to dual game controller mode or dual X-Input mode. Check the Multi-Mode tab on the product pages for more info.
Before upgrading ensure you have the I-PAC shift functionality enabled otherwise mode switching will not work. The default is Start1 being the shift control.
Also before upgrading to multi-mode firmware ensure the latest WinIPAC version is installed from the download page.
If the board comes up in Xinput mode after upgrading, this can be reset to standard keyboard by holding Start1 while connecting USB cable. See the Multi-Mode product tab on the I-PAC pages for full details.

BOARD WITH 1.3 OR LOWER REQUIRE A SPECIAL UPGRADE PROCEDURE HERE
Latest version is V33 which adds support for analog X,Y center dead-zone and auto-calibration. Email email@example.com for firmware.
Start U-Config and select File, Firmware Upgrade.
After a few seconds a "Driver Install" box will appear.
The driver should install.
The "UHID Firmware Upgrade" application should then start.
Select the UHID.UFW file
The firmware will download. After downloading, the board will reset back into normal mode and the download application will no longer see it, but it can now be used normally.
For more details and recovering from failed upgrade see manual.
This simple application can be downloaded here.
It simply has two GUI buttons for switching to 4-way or 8-way. All detected control boards (and therefore pairs of sticks) are switched.
The app is also used for PERMANENTLY switching to hardware mode (see below).
This application can be downloaded here: It supports both the ServoStik and our Ultrastik 360
JoyTray.exe -servo [joy4way|joy8way]
(If using Ultrastik 360: JoyTray.exe -u360 [mouse|analog|joy8way|easyjoy8way|joy4way|djoy4way|rdjoy4way|joy2way|vjoy2way])
If you add an -exit argument the program will exit without staying resident.
Until front-end developers add native support for the ServoStik, this is the way to automate switching. The front-end needs to be configured to run a command line before starting games eg:
JoyTray.exe -servo joy8way before all 8-way games
JoyTray.exe -servo joy4way before all 4-way games
When resident: F4 switches to 4-way and F8 switches to 8-way. You could assign I-PAC-connected controls to these keycodes. Maybe use I-PAC shifted codes.
Launch JoyTray.exe by itself and it will show an icon in the tray which can be right-clicked to show a menu. It will gray out the U360 or ServoStik menu items based on whether you have them attached. There is an option to run the program at startup.
